Miquel Barcelo in Mali
Very beautiful book reproducing numerous gouaches on paper as well as pages of the notebooks of Barcelo realized in Mali between January and July 1988 after a tour which carried out him from Spain to Mali while passing by Algeria. Most of the time, Barcelo paints the life of the river, the markets, and some incredible still lifes with fruits and fishes. Several photographs of the artist are reproduiced in the book, as well as extracts of its logbook. Edition Bischofberger, 1989, limited to 2000 copies. Back
