It was at the age of 82 that Miro realized this huge and important etching, a collaboration with the printer Morsang who gave also another major works, by the size and the quality. Of the same period, Miro produced for example some prints now very rare as "Le roi des sables", "Le bélouga", "Dans le grenier à sel", "Inceste au Sahara" or "La pierre philosophale".
