SICILIA

Jose Maria Sicilia was born in 1954. It studied at the Art schools of San Fernando in the Seventies. Sicilia is considered as one of the most important painters of its generation. he lives today between Paris and Palma de Majorque. Sicilia made many exhibition wordwide, and most of the important museums in the world have works of Sicilia. The prints of Sicilia are wondeful, Sicilia there uses varnishes, wax and constantly exploits the effects of transparency. His prints were shown during an exhibition in Caen in 2000, where about fifty lithographs and books illustrated were exhibit.
