Original etching and aquatint in black and grey, 1939. Very nice proof printed on a china paper. There were 2 editions of this print, one in 1939 at 50 copies and one in 1961 at 75 copies. Here one of 1939.

Generally in good condition, a very little tear in the upper left corner, a few folds in the paper, far from the print, subject in very good condition.

Total edition of the etching at 23 copies : 5 trial proof, (4 unsigned and one copies inscribed "bon à tirer" of Picasso -private collection-), 15 unsigned proof including one in the Picasso Museum in Paris and 3 more unsigned proofs. It doesn't exist a signed edition of this print.
Here exceptionnal proof signed and dedicated to Paul Eluard with black "A Paul Eluard, son ami Picasso, pour son Gongora" (To Paul Eluard, his friend Picasso, for its Gongora).
